We were tasked to launch adidas’s global sustainability event in 2022, rallying the world to come together to Run For The Oceans and help end plastic waste.

TOGETHER, IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING
Being the lead creative team meant being heavily involved at all phases of the brief from the strategy and creation to the presentation and production of the campaign.
All our and the agency’s hard work culminated in the most effective iterations of the ‘Run For The Oceans’ global initiative and ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ brand platform to date.
For us it was about reaching a balance between simplicity and communication. For the idea to work at a global scale, the insight had to be simple enough to be communicated and adopted across cultures and languages.
Our insight: saving the world isn’t a one person feat. It’s only when we all come together as a collective to try and drive for change, that that change is actually possible.
The idea that ‘Together, Nothing Is Impossible’.
Everyone has their own personal reason for wanting to end plastic waste and save the planet. So we started by teasing the campaign by linking up with adidas athletes around the world to tell the stories of why they were Running For The Ocean.
Posted by them on their social media channels meant creating a greater connection to their audiences who would resonate with their ‘why’ for running.
Following that was a global above the line campaign that brought together 6.7 million+ individual runners across 189 counties , people who all believed that impossible is nothing.

















but what did all that mean?
That 250,000 Kgs of plastic was going to be intercepted before polluting the ocean. All thanks to adidas and parley’s collaboration to save the environment and create materials for more sustainable apparel.
SO not only did we get the world running for the oceans, we also fit in a product shoot for the new range of adidas x Parley apparel .
It’s A collaboration that sees the sustainable materials created by parley used by adidas to create the next generation of running kit.
