It was my goal to capture the fresh approach and energy of the team behind Gut Feelings. Big energy guys, it was early in the process we decided I’d need to lean on my all my skills as an illustrator, animator as well as an art director to achieve this.
Using guts visually was a must, so the task was to make them fun, palatable and communicate something more that “eww gross” for those navigating this style of commercial music conversations.
By using an almost ‘Saturday morning cartoon’ style approach to the colours and line-work gave us a framework for bringing together the elements of musical instrumentation, guts, feelings and the unique plan they have for their brand.
